Shown below is the result of a search which was limited (See Search Dialogs) to JPG graphic files. In this example, we have sorted the list on file size to show the largest files at the top. Searching for graphic files is often a great way to locate wasted space.

One of the most unique features of this program is the ability to collect files (such as the .JPG files shown below) from perhaps hundreds of different directories and send them to the program's zip archive capability. Previous directory structures are remembered within the zip to ease the task of putting some of them back if necessary.

Available features from the button bar include:

the ability to create a printed report

a user customizable report based on grid settings

an export function

a file viewer linked to any existing installations of QuickView Plus viewers

a file launch tool

file management functions which allow for moving, copying, or zip archiving files

bit by bit file comparison tool

Notice the View Image button on the lower information bar. When a graphic file is highlighted, the program's built-in graphic viewer is activated. This viewer includes the ability to print the graphic, copy it to the clipboard, and you can even set your Windows desktop wall paper with it.

The View Image button's function changes depending upon the type of file which is highlighted. If the highlighted file is a midi or sound file then it becomes a play button.

If the highlighted file is a zipped archive then you can launch a new display window (which is similar to the Files Display) that shows the files contained within the archive.

Another feature of the program is the ability to extract files from zip archives. You can also zip files using Space Hound 32 as well.
