A bonus feature when running on the Windows '95 and Windows'98 is the In Use Files Report.   This isn't a tool which will save you disk space but it will help you learn about the files on your system and help you understand what is going on at a given moment.

All of the screen shots on this site are limited in the amount of information that can be displayed.  In the display below, the horizontal scroll bar has been moved to the right so that we can see some of the additional fields which are available on this display.

Now that we know what files are running, let us examine one of them to see what it is.  The file ICM32.DLL has been right clicked in order to show the informational popup menu that is available anywhere in the program when you have a file highlighted. 

 

The Informational popup menu Displayed on the left indicates that this is a Microsoft file and that it is part of the operating system.  It also has something to do with managing color.
Of special note is the fact that this program imports three other program modules.  These modules are identified below.
