Here, the user selects a starting directory.

If desired, multiple starting directories across multiple disk drives can be selected.  You can also exclude specific directories when necessary to achieve the results you need.

In the example below, the option to select Multiple Directories has been checked which alters the dialog to one which facilitates the selection of multiple directories.  Each directory item in the "Selection List" will become a starting point for the search.  Please note the second through fourth entries in the "Selection List".  "C:\BDE" is one of our starting points (just like "C:\INSTALLS\INSTALL" and "C:\INSTALLS\MCAFEE") and all subdirectories found within "C:\BDE" will be included within the search EXCEPT for the subdirectories Banner & Help.

"C:\BDE\Banner" and "C:\BDE\Help" each have the word NOT in front to identify them as Exclusions.  Exclusions are assigned by first adding the directory to the selection list and then using the right mouse button to mark it as an exclusion.
