This example indicates how the search can be limited to files which have been marked as Read Only.
Other search capabilities include limits based on file size, file dates, file types, etc.
File Attributes are flags which have been set for a specific file. These attributes perform certain user and operating system functions. A Read Only flag will keep a file from being deleted by accident. A hidden flag is used to cause the file to be hidden as you browse through your hard drive using standard tools such as the Windows Disk Explorer. Space Hound 32 never hides files from you.
Special note: If you are constantly needing to set file attributes against large sets of files in embedded directories, then you need Fineware's program to set and clear file attributes which is called Attributer.
