About Find a File (From Space Hound Explorer)
This tool will use a set of search rules that will attempt to locate the presence of a file on your computer as quickly as possible. It does not look for all files which have the desired file name. It will just find and select the first file that it finds.
Please note that although the form includes a drop down list for selecting the drive, a file located within the environment 'Path' regardless of drive will be found first. If the file doesn't exist within the Path, then the selected drive will be searched.
Note: You cannot use wild card or pattern matches with this feature. To find a file using pattern matching, use the File Finder tool on the Main Form.
